Welcome!
New Hope Pet Rescue-Michigan (NHPR) is committed to helping people and animals in need. We hold ourselves to a high standard – one which looks out for the physical AND mental well-being of our animals. Our 100% volunteer-based team work tirelessly to place unwanted, adoptable animals into appropriate, loving homes. All animals brought into rescue are fixed, vaccinated, heart worm tested and micro-chipped prior to adoption. All potential adopters are screened to ensure an appropriate match is made.
Our Mission
To support our community by providing a means to place unwanted healthy, adoptable pets in good family environments and to make the public aware of such animal issues as care, welfare, and the hazards of overpopulation.

Hi! I am Enzo and all I want for Christmas is my forever home!!
I am such a sweet and loving boy so I don’t understand why I haven't been adopted yet. I am about 60lbs and up to date on all my vaccinations. I'm also heart worm negative. I do very well in my crate, even for long periods of time. I am a little over a year old and already know so much! I'm potty trained and don't have any toy or food aggression. I could still use some training on simple things though like walking on a leash and refining my manners. I would love a playmate or I can be happy solo as long as my human is active with me.
Please give me a chance to be your best friend!

NHPR is powered by volunteers with full lives and big hearts, and we do our best to respond to messages as quickly as possible. We prioritize inquiries about animals that are currently available. If you do not hear from us after submitting an application for a specific animal, the animal is no longer available for adoption. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.
